The swish method in NLP to change & replace a habit
The Swish Pattern method can be used to change a behavioral pattern and replace it. Various habits are sometimes very strange. The habit of eating nails, the habit of removing facial pimples, etc.
The steps for performing this technique are as follows 👀
1) First, close your eyes in a preferably calm environment and see your mental image (negative image) during the beginning of that bad habit.
2) In your mind, just before the start of the negative habit, create a small picture of your positive and energizing alternative habit in the lower right corner.
(It is very important that the positive image gives you tremendous energy and enjoy seeing yourself in that positive state and feel it).
3) At once and at extremely high speeds, enlarge the small positive image from the lower right corner to the point where it covers all the large negative images and destroys it.

It is important to repeat the sound, such as SWISH while enlarging the image at high speed. This helps weaken and break the previous neurological pathway and change it through Pattern Interruption.
Now that your desired image has been enlarged, make it bigger and bigger and completely colorful and high quality and see yourself in that situation and enjoy this new situation completely and experience its good feeling with everyone. (Full experience of good sense is very important)
*** Do this process several times at high speed and several times a day. This exercise is very important in starting to replace behavior.
*** The sense of good image that will be replaced should be deep, inspiring, and motivating, so be careful in choosing it.
*** If you find yourself reluctant to repeat the habit, know that you need to do more of this exercise.
According to the experience of these years, in the worst-case scenario, doing a maximum of 40 Swish exercises (at different times of the day) will cause you to quickly and completely forget the previous habit and create a new behavioral pattern. When performing the technique, make sure that you experience and feel the good feelings of the alternative image well.

The process of starting your habitual behavior is as follows:
Trigger or Cue: The same thing that triggers the behavior (which we visualize in the initial negative image)
Route: The route by which the behavior is performed.
The final sense of pleasure: the result of a habit or Reward, which is the end point of the encounter.
In a nutshell, this is how a habit occurs in your brain

By doing Swish repeatedly, you are breaking this neurological pattern and actually changing its neurological direction. After doing Swish a few times, any recollection of the thought of doing that old habit will not only not end up doing the bad habit, but will remind you of the new desirable situation.
